1 JULY 2015
It's here! The stalking is over. Tomorrow, on 2 July, Nerd HQ will put their Conversations for a Cause tickets on sale.
The sale starts at 6 am PST (ouch), with tickets released in batches: 4 panels every 15 minutes. Yes, you probably thought you were done with stressful online sales, but try not to get too anxious about this; look at these panels as the icing on your Comic-Con cake. There are only 200 seats in the room. If you get tickets, great but if not you'll still have plenty to do.
I think all 4 days have good panels but Saturday and Sunday will probably be the most in demand. Be ready.
The one panel I wanted tickets for mr robot sold out before I could even click the next button in my cart. Maybe I'll get in on a short announcement last minute panel or something. I wish more places would accommodate demand instead of everything being a struggle.
ReplyDeleteI know. It's frustrating. Hopefully you can get a last-minute ticket - and there will be horse-trading online, as always.
DeleteYeah we will see. Honestly it's not soul crushing as I have plans b C and D for just about every event but it's just disappointing that nothing goes smoothly. Still hasn't dampened my enthusiasm though.
ReplyDeleteHi Devon, just wanted to make sure you saw Goldeneyez's offer. Sounds like your plan A will work out after all.
DeleteDevon, if you see this, find me on Twitter @GoldeneyezMD. I will sell you Mr. Robot at face value ($22). I got it for a friend who decided not to go. I have 2nd row seats, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a superhero thing to do.
DeleteIt's the least I could do. Your site is awesome and helped a ton this and last year. (Loving the recent interviews, by the way.) And the generosity of our fellow Con-goers is how I got my Orphan Black convo tix last year. What goes around, comes around!
DeleteOmg messaging you now that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the OMG use just excited.
