As you know, Comic Con falls on Friday the 13th, so of course there's a big horror genre party to celebrate. That would be a Con of the Dead party hosted by FEARnet at goth club Voyeur from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. Yes, those are the right times. Where I'm from, we call that "happy hour" but Comic Con is so jam packed that apparently some parties have to end while it's still light out.
Because it's a promotional event, sponsored by Fangoria and DeadCentral.com, there are plenty of interactive features, with Resident Evil 6 game demo stations, a VIP suite, "go-ghoul" dancers and one of those photo booths that turns you into a zombie. Plus a DJ, and cast members from a new FEARnet show.
Unfortunately, the party is invite-only - unless you're participating in the 6th Annual Zombie Walk right beforehand. 300 zombies will win admittance so if you want to go, this is the way in.
