I'm a newbie and I plan on going next year. This is regarding booking your hotel through Comic Cons TRavel Planners. What problems went on while trying to book a hotel? Do you book online? Over the phone Are the phone lines jammed? Please let me know. By the way thank you for your post on what to expect at the San Diego Comic Con, it has been very helpful!! Thanks :) Michelle

As for your questions - I usually have better luck online than on the phone, but I do try both. Yes, everything is jammed - phones and website. It's really galling but the good news is, you most likely will get a room... and if it's not the hotel you want, you just have to keep checking back, because hotels do open up. It's mostly a matter of patience and persistence.
